The Spotlight Calendar is the definitive guide to Spotlight Programs Board events and includes over 250 event listings, movie showtimes, and concert details. I was responsible for defining the look of the 2017-2018 calendar, finding imagery in the Georgia State University Digital Asset Library, creating graphics, formatting type, and organizing information.
Designs and templates for an established series of talks at Georgia State University featuring esteemed individuals like Ben and Jerry, George Takei, and Ndaba Mandela. The materials should pop against a wall of more monotonous, generic advertisements. This look has continued into the 2018 series.
Designs are formatted for screens (above),
social media, large-scale banners, posters,
and flyers (right).
Holiday card for the President of the university to be sent out to Atlanta officials, government employees, university employees, and VIPs. In keeping aligned with the university brand, no one holiday could be highlighted, and if any religious imagery was to be used, imagery from every religion must be represented equally. My design was selected and finely produced for an audience of movers and shakers. The GSU PR office was so pleased with the design that they produced a video of my process, which has been watched over 2,500 times.
Designs for the official Georgia State University welcome program that introduces and integrates students, faculty, and staff to the campus community. The event is a weeklong campus-wide series of events, and the promotional materials flooded the Atlanta and Decatur campuses and reached approximately 60,000 students.
